We’ve had some debate here at Norville Rogers HQ about the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. JR. couldn’t get past the 3rd movie and still hasn’t seen the 4th installment. But he is dead and cold inside, so what can you do?
I, on the other hand, am unabashed in my love of the franchise and can’t wait for #5 in a couple of years.
But regardless of what you think of the movies, it’s hard not to adore this clip from earlier this summer when Johnny Depp took time away from filming to visit some kids fighting a tough battle. Captain Jack Sparrow himself showed up, accompanied by the brilliant Stephen Graham (Boardwalk Empire) as the pirate Scrum. Check this out and enjoy.
