Fun episode! And the fact that you all quoted the Goonies just made it even better…

As kids, our family trips were to Kings Island! My dad’s whole side of the family and everything. Very fun amusement park, but haven’t been there in years. Kennywood is another great park!

On the note of world traveling, I’ve only ever been to Peru. But seeing the hill country of Huaycan and how the people live there was incredible. There are so many places I’d love to visit though. Great episode guys!

Just being able to say, “I saw the hill country of the Huaycan” makes you sound so awesome!

So I was listening to StoryMen into Darkness and was like, “Wait! That’s me!” So I’ve come back to comment on Peru! So thank you!

It really was awesome. We spent a month there on a mission trip and the sights weren’t nearly as amazing as what God did there. Such an incredible time and we saw so many lives changed…. However we did see great sights too! Like I said, Huaycan was something that really opened my eyes. Seeing where and how these people lived was absolutely incredible. They basically lived in the hill country in homes made out of whatever they could find. These people had next to nothing but they were so warm and so welcoming, it was really a time that will forever impact me. However, we saw not a single Llama while there. Every souvenir has a llama on it, and we didn’t see one….Then again we were in the city most of the time.

It was definitely an adventure being there and I would recommend visiting. I would love to go back!
