The 7 Best OK Go Videos

The Writing’s On the Wall. That’s the title of the latest music video from OK Go.

OK Go makes the craziest videos. They’re no one-hit wonders but they are one take marvels, because they have pulled off some wild performances with the help of a team of skilled individuals. If you’ve never seen one of these videos then you’re in for a treat.

First off, here’s the new video. The band had not done anything with optical illusion quite like this (besides the trippy All Is Not Lost), and it works tremendously. You can also dig on the 80s retro stuff.

Pretty good, right? But it’s not my favorite. Here are seven videos as I rank them. You’ll have to decide where the new one ranks.

1. This Too Shall Pass – Rube Goldberg Machine Version

This video is everything. I especially like the pile of broken televisions which gives you an idea of how many takes it took.

2. Needing/Getting

I haven’t seen singing and driving like this since Gene Wilder was Willy Wonka.

3. Here It Goes Again

This video is really where it all started for OK Go. Never gets old to watch.

4. White Knuckles

The dogs!!

5. This Too shall Pass – Original (Marching Band Version)

Marching band never looked so cool.

6. Muppet Show Theme Song

It’s time to light the lights.

7. End Love

Some pretty crazy stopmotion effects here.

Pretty good body of work so far and not a bad internet rabbit trail to follow.

How does the new video rank to you?

What’s your favorite one?
