“You have come to Yahweh, the God of Israel, seeking refuge. You have looked to him for protection. May he cover you with the corner of his garment and protect you from all harm.”
I love the story of Ruth.
It’s a beautiful story about hard times, and how God shows up in the midst of them.
Despite famine, death, and poverty, Ruth and her mother-in-law find blessings from God because they are true to God and one another… and because the righteous man of God, Boaz, steps up and takes care of them.
My retelling of this story — one of the most famous of all time — releases today! It’s only .99 cents because the story is short, and because I want everyone to have access to it.
Refugees are in the news a lot lately. I think this book gives us insight into the way the followers of God should be engaging in their stories… and it’s a beautiful picture of other things, too, like redemption, family, and loyalty.
I hope you enjoy it. If you do, please leave a review or suggest it to your friends and loved ones. Thank you!
