What’s the craziest dream YOU have ever followed?

By JR. Forasteros

JR. lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Amanda. In addition to exploring the wonders that are the Lone Star state, JR. is the teaching pastor at Catalyst Community Church, a writer and blogger. His book, Empathy for the Devil, is available from InterVarsity Press. He's haunted by the Batman, who is in turn haunted by the myth of redemptive violence.

I’m kinda doing my next big thing I wanted to do, and that’s podcasting. Although no one much listens, except the friends of the people I’m talking to, haha. That doesn’t sound like a crazy or big dream, but for someone like me, it’s a big step. Cause I’m shy. But beyond that, my heart is in video. Maybe that will be next.

So, I have questions now. Maybe these aren’t the kind of questions you were talking about, and if that’s the case, then that’s ok; I won’t have my feelings hurt. 🙂

Clay: How do you listen to music while you write? Doesn’t it distract you? Do you listen the whole time and sort of tune it out or listen for a while then turn it off? Or do you not tune it out but it helps get your mind active? Or what? Don’t you start listening more than writing? Anyway, every time you FB about choosing writing music, I want to know how you do that. I guess because I can’t do that.

Matt: I want to know about the demon possessions you’ve witnessed. How do you know they were real and not mental/physical/emotional illness or fake or something like that? What happened and what did you do and were you scared and were the people exorcised and if so what was that like? Also! About the Austin retreat – will that be recorded and available to people like me who would LOVE to see or hear it? Because I would love to see or hear those talks!

JR: Hi JR! I don’t have a question for you right now, but you know I will at some point. 🙂
