I was so focused on starting my new teaching schedule for summer classes today that I forgot to post this week’s trailer earlier!
I’m curious to hear what you think of this one, at first glance the very title sounds like a punchline to many people. I mean, we’ve got these Fast & Furious films figured out right? And #6? This franchise is heading into Friday the 13th territory.
Hey, that’d be an interesting crossover, Jason Voorhees as a down and out drag racer who tries to murder everybody.
I might have seen the first of these films–The Fast and the Furious–but don’t remember any more after that. Then my friend and I ended up seeing Fast Five in the theater in 2011.
It was one of those amazing nights when the theater was packed and lively. People clapped, laughed, shouted. I mean, we were into the crazy stunts and popcorn action.
Now they’re rolling again and Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) is back. Here’s the trailer.
So I’m curious, have you seen any of these films, specifically Fast Five. Does this movie look like a joke or something you will check out?
