Steven Spielberg’s “Obama”

Oh man, you have got to watch this.

In case you aren’t sure what corner of Washington this hilarious parody came from, it was made for the annual White House Correspondents Dinner which is usually the most cordial and funny event in American politics each year, that rare time we actually get to see government leaders poke fun at themselves and their colleagues.

This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen Obama do.

Bush II was always great at these events as well. Here’s the famous bit with he and Steve Bridges, the brilliant comedian who suddenly died last year.

I guess Reagan wasn’t the only chief executive who could act.

Ha! I put that on my blog today, too! I probably never told you that I’ve known the Bridges family for a long time… went to grade school where Steve’s mom was the principal and church where his dad was the pastor. And his siblings and I were in school together.
