My five year old, Myca, revealed some startling news when I asked her about her day yesterday.
Myca: I found a dead fairy in the grass at my school.
Me: A dead fairy?
Myca: Well, it was only her brain.
Me: Oh! What do you think killed it? A cat?
Myca: My friends thought it was a piece of gum. But it was a brain. In the grass. It was gross.
Me: Um.
Myca: It was probably the tooth fairy’s brain.
