I don’t remember being excited for an Adam Sandler movie in a number of years, but I do enjoy a number of his films. But after seeing the trailer for Pixels, scheduled to release this summer, I’m legitimately looking forward to this film.

Definitely some great stuff to love here, from the games of my youth to Peter Dinklage going all Sons of Anarchy.
The film also stars Kevin James, Josh Gad, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox, Ashley Benson and Jane Krakowski.

I’m at the point where Sandler’s voice is enough to trigger instant disregard for a movie. I love a lot of them, but “stupid funny” Sandler got old long ago. This looks promising though, and I’ll definitely watch it. Then again, I watch almost everything that’s not a heavy drama. Or scary.
