Meet the Hosts
Kathy Khang is a speaker, journalist, and activist. She has worked in campus ministry for more than twenty years, with expertise in issues of gender, ethnicity, justice, and leadership development.
She is a columnist for Sojourners magazine, a writer for Faith & Leadership, and a coauthor of More Than Serving Tea: Asian American Women on Expectations, Relationships, Leadership and Faith.
Connect with Kathy:
He lives in the Portland, Oregon, area with his family and a gigantic rabbit named Bruce.
Connect with Matt:
After a decade of teaching college courses in history, political science, and communication in Pittsburgh, Clay moved to Dallas, Texas where at least winters aren’t soul-crushing.
He’s been writing professionally for years, doing everything from journalism to corporate consulting. He helps people become better communicators at CommunicationKingdom. Along the way he published Undead: Revised, Resuscitated & Reborn—a book about zombies, God, and what it means to be alive. He loves his wife Jen, hockey, and Oxford commas (unlike JR.).
Connect with Clay:
JR. lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Amanda. He’s a writer, blogger and pastor (in the Church of the Nazarene). He is the author of Empathy for the Devil, a book about finding ourselves in the Bible’s villains. He also loves Batman, spirited debates and smoking meats.
Check out his blog for his sermon podcast. JR. is addicted to podcasting. In addition to the Fascinating Pod, JR. also cohosts In All Things Charity (Wesleyan Feminist Theology), Don’t Split Up! (horror film reviews), Origami Elephants (religion, philosophy and current events), Bible Bites (Sunday School for the 21st Century) and Oh My Wednesday (a review of the TV show American Gods). He also blogs on faith and pop culture right here on NorvilleRogers.com.
Elliott lives in Houston with his wife and two awesome children. A computer science educator by day and podcast producer by night, he loves to engage with pop culture on a deeper level and is passionate to see God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Also, he was attacked by a seagull on his honeymoon (Elliott’s, not the seagull’s).
